How to Prepare for a Mobile Notary Visit in Florida

Booking a mobile notary in Florida is a convenient way to get documents notarized at home, work, or a care facility. To make the visit fast and stress-free, here’s how to prepare for your Palm Beach County notary appointment.

At Ibis Notary Services, I arrive prepared—but here’s how you can be ready too.

What to Have Ready Before Your Appointment

  1. Valid Photo ID

The signer must show an unexpired, government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport, etc.).

  1. The Document
  • – Bring the complete document—not just a signature page
  • – Do not sign the document in advance
  • – If multiple signers are involved, all must be present with ID
  1. Witnesses (If Required)

Some documents—like powers of attorney, living wills, or real estate deeds—may require two adult witnesses.

  • – Witnesses cannot be named in the document or related to the signer
  • – Most facilities do not allow staff to act as witnesses
  • – If you’re unsure, I can guide you ahead of time
  1. Quiet Space

Set aside a well-lit, quiet area where we can complete the signing without interruptions.

(A table or counter with chairs is perfect!)

Let Me Handle the Rest

As your mobile notary, I’ll:

  • – Confirm your ID
  • – Explain the process
  • – Handle all legal notary documentation

– Ensure compliance with Florida notary laws

Appointments usually take 15–30 minutes—whether we’re at your kitchen table, office desk, or even the back of a pickup truck or construction site. (Yes, I’ve notarized on a pallet of tiles—whatever it takes to serve you professionally!)
